• Lead strategic product and innovation research at scale through the product lifecycle.
• Built and lead a team of 16 user experience researchers, data scientists, and technologists who oversee research & technology efforts for Mass Markets product and P&L decision-makers.
• Led the design and establishment of a design studio and research lab in Austin, TX, which includes 3 human factors labs, with one built in partnership with call center/retail partners for omnichannel research.

• Worked with data scientists across the company to understand needs, develop requirements, and build an on-prem deep learning platform for machine learning and AI-based application development.

• Led and project managed the technical design and development of a cloud-based health and wellness AI solution. Supported the delivery a prototype product to external customers to make data driven recommendations to improve platform utilization.
• Led UX research and design strategy, managed researchers conducting fieldwork, and led multiple product proposals, mock-ups, and prototypes that led to customer wins over competitor products.
• Performed full-stack software architecture of multiple prototype and proposal solutions, including full-stack web services, AI & NLP technologies, and edge-computing platforms for internal/external executive stakeholders.
• Supported go-to-market partnerships, product/business strategy, and contracting with external customers.

University of Notre Dame

• Led and conducted human-computer interaction, health informatics, and user-experience design research focused on evaluating the effects of novel collaborative tools for clinicians in emergency spaces.
• Co-designed multi-modal and computer-vision technology with clinicians aimed at solving issues that occur with cognitive aids.
• Directed ethnographic field work in cancer care and emergency crisis environments.
• Mentored and supervised research assistants in topics focused on programming, health informatics, interaction design research, and analysis of quantitative & qualitative datasets.

• Implemented and designed software and hardware solutions for OEMs, executed build processes, and developed function tests for automotive diagnostics.

Lockheed Martin - Space Operations
